MIDTERM #6

This is a PNG of the Linux logo "Tux" layered behind inputted text.

This is an animated GIF of my name rotating.

These images are examples of making use of the layer functions in GIMP.  The first image shows being able to adjust the order in which images and text show up in an image created in GIMP. The second images shows multiple layers being displayed as an animation, which is a part of a GIFs properties. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. This course is called Discovering Computer Graphics.
